Beachcombing is my guilty pleasure, my go to for peace and tranquility, my passion! Nothing makes me happier than foraging for treasures along our beautiful British coastline. The thrill of finding a perfect piece of sea glass never wanes.

Only last week I found this beautiful blue/lilac sea glass heart on the Isle of Sheppey. I always take in situ photographs of extra special pieces So that their new owners can see where they started their jewellery journey. Later during the same beachcombing session I found another heart!! Unfortunately no photo this time..... What happened to them next was an organic and obvious (well, to me anyway!) transition.......

Using my indispensable rotary tool I carefully drilled holes using diamond coated drill bits and very simply attached the hearts to sterling silver ear wires using sterling silver jump rings..........perfect!

Each piece of jewellery I make, almost designs itself, with a little bit of creative realisation from me.
